Let me tell you a story. Some of you who know me know how strange I am, well wait, I’m even stranger than you know.
I’ve asked a few of my friends if they’ve ever seen things, heard, things, smelled things, or experienced some of the things that I have. The answer is always, no.
What are these things? Supernatural things. I guess you can say, I experience things that are a little unusual to most.
This post is about the supernatural smell of fruit. I call it heavenly fruit. I’ll cover some of my other unusual experiences at a later date.
For now, just imagine a room full of sliced oranges. Big beautiful ripe and juicy oranges. Now sweeten the smell as you imagine some being juiced. Now multiply that scent by like 1000%. The scent is pleasantly strong, so much so, that you can almost taste it.
And that’s it, heavenly oranges, or lemons, or watermelons, etc. This is my experience and personal connection to God, and the Savior, but mostly it’s my connection to the Holy Spirit.
These experiences happen the most when I immerse myself in prayer, praise and worship. This makes me strange (set apart), and I’m good with that, but it doesn’t mean that I’m unique or special.
Anyone wishing to know and have a relationship with God can experience His wonderful gifts.
Do you know God? Knowing Him is better than any experience I’ve ever had. There are no words to describe it.
He wants to meet you where you are and give you the most wonderful gift of all, eternal life.
Ask him into your life. Ask him to fill you with the Holy Spirit. Accept Yeshua into your heart and ask him to forgive your sins.
Read the Bible and do your best to follow the commandments. We’re not perfect but we’re made perfect through him.
When you call on God, your life will never be the same again, in the most wonderful way. I can’t promise you heavenly smells on earth, but God has much more than this in store for those he loves. And he loves you. Hallelujah!
Galatians 5:22, 23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
